| The President of the European Parliament and heads of the political groups are going to pay a two day visit to Hungary in order to discuss the program and the priorities of the Hungarian EU Presidency. The Conference of Presidents (CoP), led by EP-President Jerzy Buzek, is visiting the Hungarian capital, Budapest this week. The main task of the CoP, which is one of the main political organs of the European Parliament, is to keep contact with the other EU institutions, including the incoming Hungarian Presidency. The members of the delegation are all the leaders of the political groups sitting in the European Parliament. On Thursday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and EP-President Jerzy Buzek will hold a speech at the joint session of the CoP and the Hungarian Government, which will take place in the Hungarian Parliament, with the presence of the press. Afterwards, the partners will have a discussion behind closed doors. Ministers will outline the sectoral priorities of the Hungarian EU Presidency, and listen to the comments of the EP-leaders. After the meeting, János Martonyi, Foreign Minister of Hungary will host a dinner for the guests. On the second day of the visit, the delegation will meet László Kövér, Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament.
