Education
He graduated in 1986 at the Karl Marx University of Economic Sciences obtaining a degree in industrial management and sociology. He obtained MSc degree in Resource Management in 1992 at the University of Edinburgh.
Employment
From 1986 until 1993 he taught at the Agricultural Sociology Department of the Gödöllő University of Agriculture Sciences, then at the Industrial Economics Department of Budapest University of Economic Sciences until 1998. Between 1998-2002 he was the Deputy Director of the Office for Hungarians Abroad, responsible for economic management. He worked in his own private company, MIÉK Market Research and Consultancy Partnership between 2003-2010.
Public positions held
Between 1999-2003 he was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Új Kézfogás Foundation. In 2000-2002 he was a member of the Supervisory Boards of Prudent Invest Investment Fund Management Co. and of Corvinus Co. Between 2002-2007 he was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Carpathia Co.
