The first Wallenberg memorial exhibition in South Africa has been presented at the prestigious Redhill School in Johannesburg. After the opening speech of the Ambassador of Hungary, Mr. Béla LÁSZLÓ, the students became acquainted in a special history class with the tragic events of the Holocaust in Hungary and the rescue activities of the heroic Swedish diplomat. The exhibition will be on display in South Africa at several high schools and universities in Pretoria, Durban and Cape Town as well during the Wallenberg year of commemoration.
