Upon the request of the Chief of Police we issue the following informatuion: During the period between 25 November 2011 and 15 January 2012 motor vehicle drivers should expect increased police control on the public roads in Hungary. They should particularly pay attention to not transgressing the speed limit and to avoid drinking while driving. At the same time it is even more strictly inspected if heavy vehicle drivers and bus drivers follow the rules concerning obligatory rest periods while driving.
