The traditional charity event Holiday Bazaar was held in Kyiv on December 1, 2012, organized by the International Women’s Club in Kyiv (IWCK). The Hungarian Embassy in Kyiv participated actively in the Bazaar with an own booth. By selling handmade Christmas gifts prepared and typical Hungarian goods bought by the Hungarian community living in Kyiv (not only people from the Embassy), as well as by selling veal goulash stew provided by the Embassy, Hungary was able to collect 2200 USD for the IWCK. The amount would be earmarked for Ukrainian children’s hospitals and various social institutions.
