László Sólyom, President of the Republic of Hungary spent one day in Bangkok during an unofficial visit on 23 September 2009. The President was received by high ranking representatives of His Majesty as well as the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand at Suwarnabhumi Airport. Following the official reception the President visited the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha.
