This year the Sister Cities Week Festival was held in Siam Paragon, in the center of Bangkok, and the spectacular program proved to be a great success with Thai and international visitors alike. Budapest, the capital of Hungary had been invited to participate and our delegation was delighted to be here and enjoy world famous Thai hospitality. Among the new numerous sister cities Budapest was the third to establish such a special relationship with its Thai counterpart, and this year it was represented by an information and exhibition pavilion, a gastronomic and wine tasting booth organized by the Embassy as well as cultural events including Hungarian folk dance performances.
