Ambassador Denes Tomaj handed over his credentials to H.E.Mr. Choummaly Sayasone, President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic on 22nd May 2012 in Vientiane. By this solemn act, beginning from this date, the representation of Hungary in the Lao PDR will be assumed by the Embassy of Hungary in Bangok, taking over this task from the Embassy of Hungary in Hanoi. The change of accreditation affects the consulair affairs as well, as far as the protection of interests of Hungarian citizens is concerned.
