H.E. Dr. Miklós Szócska Hungarian Minister of State for Health paid an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

 

H.E. Dr. Miklós Szócska Hungarian Minister of State for Health paid an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia between 9th - 12th September, 2012. The official delegation also included Dr. György Velkey, President of the Hungarian Hospital Federation, Prof. Dr. László Hangody, the Head of the Hungarian Orthopaedic Association and Mr. Róbert Rosta ministry advisor. The Minister of State, as the only non-muslim country representative, participated in the international conference on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), that has been organized in Riyadh under the high patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia. The Minister of State also adressed speech to the audience during the ministerial roundtable of the conference. On the sideline of the event, His Excellency Minister of State Dr. Miklós Szócska held negotiations to promote development of health cooperation between the two friendly countries with H.E. Saudi Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabiah, with President and faculty leaders of the Saudi Council of Chambers of Commerce & Industry, with the Vice Chairman of the King Abdulaziz City for Science & Technology (KACST), with the leaders of the Saudi Council for Health Specialties (SCHS). The Hungarian delegation futhermore visited the Riyadh-based King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center (KFSH-RC) to hold negotiations with its high-ranking officials.
