Between 27-29 February 2004 and during her visit to countries in South East Asia, H.E. Katalin Szili, Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly, met with H.E. Mr. Abdullah Tarmugi, Speaker of the Singapore Parliament. The Hungarian Speaker was received by H.E. Mr. S.R. Nathan, President of the Republic of Singapore as well.

H.E. Dr. Ibolya Dávid, Deputy Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly made an official visit to Singapore between 24-26 November 2004 and had talks with her Singaporean counterpart, H.E. Mr. Chew Heng Ching, Deputy Speaker of the Singaporean Parliament. The Hungarian Deputy Speaker was received by H.E. Mr. S. Jayakumar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Law.
