VISA DAYS:

Monday and Thursday: 10.00 to 12.00 (except Hungarian and Pakistani official holidays).

REQUIREMENTS FOR TOURIST VISA

• Passport valid for at least six months after return to Pakistan
• Two recent passport size photographs (one to be fixed and one separate)
• Copy of identity card
• Confirmed return air ticket
• A pre-paid travel package (including transport, hotel and itinerary) by a Hungarian travel agent or a hotel reservation FULLY PAID IN ADVANCE for the whole period of the intended stay
• A travel accident and health insurance valid for Hungary
• Proof of sufficient financial means for the planned stay (certificate of employment, certificate of income, tax statement for the last two years, extracts of bank accounts of the last year, proof of property)
• Travelers’ cheques of worldwide known banks (VISA, American Express, etc.):
  • US$ 1,000 in case of staying for less than 10 days
  • US$ 2,000 in case of staying for more than 10 days.
• Visa procedural fee: Euro 60.00 which is non-refundable in case of rejection.

NOTE:

(a) Please answer all the necessary questions in the forms precisely and please type your answers or use block letters in English

(b) All the applicants are required to apply for their visas personally, group applications are not accepted

(c) The decision of the Hungarian authorities in Budapest about issuing visa plus the processing time shall take about 30 working days

(d) The Hungarian Embassy shall not be responsible if due to some circumstances the decision is delayed

(e) No information may be given about the status of an application to anybody other than the applicant or his/her rightfully proved legal representative

(f) There is no legal right for Hungarian visa. The Hungarian authorities reserve the right to grant a visa or reject it without explaining any reason thereof.

REQUIREMENTS FOR BUSINESS VISA

• Passport valid for at least six months after return to Pakistan
• Three recent passport size photographs
• Copy of identity card
• Confirmed return air ticket
• Letter of invitation issued by the Hungarian company which invites the business partner, stating the duration and purpose of visit
• Incorporation documents and business licenses
• Proof of business activities with the company in Hungary
• Letter of introduction from applicant’s company or employer stating his position and duration of employment
• Bank statements detailing all deposits and withdrawals for the last year, tax statements for the last two years.
• Travel, health and accident insurance valid for Hungary
• Travelers’ cheques:
  • US$1,000 in case of less than 10 days stay
  • US$2,000 in case of more than 10 days stay

VISA PROCEDURAL FEE: Euro 60.00 to be paid in cash Euros and is non-refundable in case of rejection.

•  Letter of Admission plus the Receipt of Tuition Fee (in original) from the concerned university
• Academic certificates in original on the basis of which the Hungarian university admitted the applicant
• Proof of arrangement for hostel or other residential accommodation minimum for the length of time for which the tuition fee is paid in.

Proof of satisfactory resources to cover the expenses during the study period in Hungary. The appropriate financial resources are accounts with

• Hungarian banks or any kind of internationally accepted resources checked and confirmed by a Hungarian financial institution
• Return air ticket
• Travel accident and health insurance valid for Hungary

VISA PROCEDURAL FEE:

• Euro 60.00 in case of long-term course of study
