The ministerial meeting of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (AoC) took place on the 23rd September. Hungary as an active member of the Alliance was represented by H.E. János MARTONYI Minister of Foreign Affairs. Hungary recognises that the AoC has become a successful global platform for intercultural dialogue devoted to promoting trust and understanding between diverse communities. Hungary contributes to these goals and attaches great importance to the preservation of the cultural diversity of minorities and the promotion of minority languages through intercultural dialogue.
