Dr. Ágnes Vadai, State Secretary of the Hungarian Ministry of Defence, paid an official visit to The Netherlands 24-26 September 2008. The State Secretary met Minister Eimert van Middelkoop and State Secretary Jack de Vries. The Netherlands thanked Hungary for her offer of support in Afghanistan. Dr. Vadai also re-enforced that NATO’s C-17 strategic airlift capability project in Pápa, Hungary is on schedule. European Defence and Security Policy issues were both on the agenda of the official negotiations and the roundtable discussion at the Hague Centre for Strategic Studies.
