The exhibition of the Hungarian-born painter Mrs. Mariska Hofman-Gáspár
On February 11th 2010 with a grand opening ceremony in the Jan van Togt Museum, the exhibition of the Hungarian-born painter, Mrs. Mariska Hofman-Gáspár opened its doors to the public.

The 99 years old artist arrived in the Netherlands at the age of 12, on one of the so called “children trains” after the First World War. Although she lives in the Netherlands since then, she still speaks fluent Hungarian and besides her Dutch nationality she considers herself to be a Hungarian.
