Exhibition of the Hungarian textile artist Mrs. Eszter Bornemisza


On March 3rd 2010 in the Refter room of the Municipality of Haarlem, the exhibition of the Hungarian textile artist Mrs. Eszter Bornemisza opened its doors to the public. The exhibition was organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Hungary in cooperation with the Municipality of Haarlem and is open to the public from March 2nd 2010 until March 12th 2010 in municipality working hours.On a grand opening ceremony after the warm welcoming words from H.E. Dr. Iván Udvardi ambassador of the Republic of Hungary and Mr. Bernt Schneiders major of Haarlem and President of the National Council of Mayors, the exhibition was officially opened with speeches by H.E. Mr. Tibor Kiss state secretary for European Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Hungary, and Mrs. Jeanne Hamers-van der Werff president of the Dutch Quiltersgilde.The public will have the opportunity to see 20 of the artist’s masterpieces.
