On 2 February 2010 Dr. György Varga, Ambassador of Hungary to the Republic of Moldova and Andrei Galben, Rector inaugurated the Hungarian room of the Universitatea Liberă Internaţională din Moldova (ULIM) university in Chişinău. This room is one of those halls at the institution that embassies accredited to Moldova have undertaken to install in a way to present their national characteristics.

Following the opening ceremony, the Ambassador and the Rector discussed the potential areas of Hungarian involvement in the university’s educational, cultural and scientific activities, including the establishment of relations with a Hungarian institution of higher education.
