On July 30, 2008, took place the meeting between the President of Republic of Moldova, Mr. Vladimir Voronin and the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary, Мr. György Varga.

During the meeting, the Hungarian diplomat informed the President about the development of the relations in various domains existing between our countries. The sides discussed the preparation process of the bilateral meetings on high level, common projects and the activity of the Common Application Centre at the Embassy of Hungary in Chisinau.

The President of Moldova expressed his gratitude towards Republic of Hungary for its support concerning Moldova’s European integration aspiration. The head of state also remarked the great contribution of Hungary to the efficient activity of the EUBAM Mission.
