On 19 June 2008 ambassadors representing EU Member States to Moldova, including the ambassador of the Republic of Hungary, Mr. György Varga, visited the headquarters of European Union Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine (EUBAM) in Odessa. During the visit, the Head of Mission, Mr. Ferenc Banfi, has informed the diplomats about the goals and objectives, gained experience and achievements of the EUBAM activity. The ambassadors have also visited one of the EUBAM field offices, which is located at Kuchurhan International Border Crossing Point.
