The International Raft Races, traditionally organized in the spring every year, are major events of the Hungarian community in Kuwait, bringing together young and old. On May 6, hundreds of Hungarians, Kuwaitis and other foreigners gathered at the “Shaab Club” for an exciting day of competitions. The Hungarian team was first place winner in the ladies’ category, as well as second and third place winner in the mixed and men’s categories. The event was attended, and the trophies were handed over, by H. E. Ferenc Csillag, Ambassador of Hungary.
