The delegation of the Pázmány Péter Catholic University made a visit to Jordan between 6-12 October 2010, lead by Rector Dr. György Fodor. The delegation held a meeting with Prince Hassan and met with the Rector of the Catholic University of Madaba. The two parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding including the exchange of professors and students as well as other ways of co-operation.

Dr. Csaba Ternyák, Archbishop of Eger held a lecture titled „East and West, shared values” that was organized by the Arab Thought Forum under the auspices of Prince Hassan, in the framework of the visit. A round table talk took place in the Royal Inter-faith Institute between the delegation and Jordanian academic, religious and intellectual personalities on the topic of religion and culture.
