Prime minister discusses with Hungarian President bilateral ties, situation in the region |
| Amman, Oct.
14 (Petra)—Prime Minister Nader Dahabi discussed with the Hungarian President Laszlo Solyom bilateral ties and ways of further boosting them in the political and economic fields.
Dahabi said the government was keen, under the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, to boost cooperation with Hungary and open new horizons in the economic, trade, investment and cultural fields.
Talks during the meeting, which was attended by Environment Minister Khalid Irani, also touched on the situation in the Middle East and efforts designed to achieve peace and prosperity in the Middle East.
Dahabi highlighted the importance of the European role in solving problems facing the region.
President Solyom valued the role played by Jordan, under His Majesty’s directives, to achieve security, peace and stability in the Middle East.
