The Economic Office of the Hungarian Embassy acts on behalf of the Ministry of National Development & Economy and of the Hungarian Investment and Trade Development Co. Ltd .

Besides the economic diplomatic functions, the Office offers free of charge services to the Israeli business community, provides information concerning investment opportunities in Hungary, data about Hungarian suppliers, subcontractors and trade related events, etc.

The office offers information of bookkeepers, auditors, lawyers, recruitment firms, etc. free of charge. Investors and buyers willing to open business activity in CEE are able to receive full support of the Economic Office concerning their first visit in Hungary.

The Office organizes 2-3 trade and investment promotion events every year. The events are usually published via the relevant Israeli organizations.

The Office maintains close working relations with the Hungarian business community and the related government bodies as: The Hungarian Export-Import Bank Pte. Ltd., Hungarian Export and Credit Insurance Pte. Ltd., Corvinus Ltd., Hungarian Collective Agricultural Marketing Centre (AMC)., Hungarian Tourism Co. Ltd.
