If you have any question, please do not hesitate to contact us. During the opening hours you may find that we are not always able to take your call. We suggest that you try to call again later in the afternoon, between 2 pm and 4.00 pm from Monday to Thursday, or send us your query to mission.dub@mfa.gov.hu
From 16th of April 2012 an appointment has to be booked for every consular affair except in the following cases:
We deal only with the “classic” consular cases of protection of Hungarian citizens without appointment.
For all the other cases such as visa, legalization of documents, passport queries an appointment should be booked by phone: 661-29-02, 661-29-03, 661-29-05 or by e-mail: mission.dub@mfa.gov.hu between 2 pm and 4.00 pm from Monday to Thursday.
Please note: we accept only cash.
If you have an appointment please visit the Consulate in time. If somebody fails to appear in time we cannot deal with his/her case on the same day and a new appointment is required.
The Consulate is not able to answer to the e-mails immediately as well as the phone lines of the Consulate are very busy. Please be patient, we try to answer for every question as soon as possible.
Where a Hungarian authority is responsible for a procedure the Consulate only receive the applications but it does not have any effect on the administrative procedure concerned. So the Consulate is not able to inform you on the status of the individual administrative procedures. You may ask directly the Hungarian authorities.
