Our mission represents the Hungarian government at the WTO, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and on foreign economic issues at the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (ECE).
The main focus of our work currently is to represent the Hungarian interests in the ongoing multilateral trade negotiations of the WTO (Doha Development Agenda) within the framework of the coordination mechanism of the European Union in Geneva as well as to assist in the formulation of the Government’s position on multilateral trade issues by providing, on a continuous basis, information to the respective ministries on the negotiating process.On our website you can find a short overview of the wide range of trade-related issues covered by our Mission and several useful links.
