On the 19th of June, 2009, within the framework of wine tasting organized by the Economic Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Hungary, nine Hungarian wineries introduced their products to the Chinese press and relevant wine-importing companies. At the event, opening remarks were made by Ambassador Mr. Sándor Kusai, Mr. György Rétfalvi, CEO of ITD-Hungary as well as Mr. Wang Yin, Director General of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the People’s Republic of China.

The event served as an excellent opportunity for the introduction of the famous wine-culture of Hungary, at the same time it contributed to the further promotion of Hungarian wines at the Chinese market.
