On the 23^rd of September, 2008, the Embassy of the Republic of Hungary in Beijing in cooperation with the School of International Studies (SIS) of the Chinese People’s University organized an all-day long conference on the evaluation of the Beijing Olympic Games and its influence on China and the World. During this event - formally opened by Ambassador Mr. Sándor Kusai and Mr. Chen Jian, Dean of SIS of the Chinese People’s University - outstanding Chinese academic figures and researchers along with the members of the diplomatic missions here shared their views on the political, cultural and economical impacts of the Olympic Games on China and the world.
