Visa

Visa exemption for Canadian citizens visiting Hungary has been in force since 1991. After granting reciprocal treatment for Hungarians in 1993 Canada unilaterally reintroduced visa requirements for Hungarian citizens visiting Canada on December 5, 2001. As of March 1st 2008, Canada granted visa exemption again for the citizens of Hungary. The visa requirements are subject to the current review conducted by the Government of Canada.
