Diplomatic relations with Canada were established in 1964. Beside the Hungarian Embassy in Ottawa, Hungary has Honorary Consulate General in Vancouver (British Columbia) and Honorary Consulates in Montreal (Québec), Calgary and Edmonton (Alberta) as well as in Winnipeg (Manitoba).
