Diplomatic relations with Canada were established in 1964. The Hungarian embassy is in Ottawa, and there is consulate general in Toronto. Hungary has honorary consulate general in Vancouver (British Columbia) and honorary consulates in Montreal (Québec), Calgary (Alberta) and in Winnipeg (Manitoba).
