As it has been already reported, at November 27, 2009 the Consulate General of the Republic of Hungary in Toronto will end its consular activity.
Therefore from November 30, 2009 onward the consular duties of the Consulate General in Toronto will be taken over by the Embassy of the Republic of Hungary in Ottawa. So in the future clients from the whole territory of the Province of Ontario as well as from Manitoba and Saskatchewan will be eligible to file their corresponding applications and/or requests to this Diplomatic Mission. Consular cases originally filed at the Consulate General in Toronto and yet pending will be also attended by the Embassy in Ottawa.
Les frais consulaires doivent payer en CAD (dollars canadiens) et en argent comptant si la demande a été déposée personellement. Exceptionnellement, la demande peut être adressée par courrier a l’adresse de la Section Consulaire. Dans ce cas, le règlement se fait par cheque ou Money Order à l’ordre de l’Ambassade de la République de l’Hongrie.
Car les frais consulaires étaient déterminés en EUR (euro) par les autorités hongroises, les tariffs en CAD peuvent varier selon les fluctuations des cours du change. Veuillez appeler la Section Consulaire pour les frais actuels.
