Dictation and reception for the representatives of Belarusian civil society at the Embassy

In the framework of cooperation between the Hungarian Presidency in the EU and the Belarusian civil society a Belarusian language dictation and reception took place at the Embassy on 24 June 2011. The participating ambassadors and charge d’affaires of the EU Member States and that of the US as well as the representatives of the Belarusian civil society used the of Kastus Kalinovskiy’s “Letters from prison” for the dictation.

Former presidential candidates, Vladimir Nekliaev, leader of the Campaign “Say the truth!”, deputy head of Belarusian People’s Front, Igor Kastusiev, as well as Aleksandr Kozulin and family members of political prisoners and leading journalists of independent media participated the dictation and the reception.

During the event the relatives of the political prisoners accompanied by Iulia Frolova sang the songs “Love”, “Don’t be afraid” and “Prayer for Belarus”, which you can listen by clicking here.
