At the end of April, Ambassador Csaba visited Perth, where he consulted with representatives of West Australia’s business community on the Hungarian economic situation and the business opportunities Hungary has to offer. He also met with the organizers of the prestigious Perth International Arts Festival to explore ways for Hungarian artists to participate in the festival’s events. The Ambassador briefed the leaders of the local Hungarian community on the situation in Hungary, Hungary’s very first EU Presidency and the newly simplified process of naturalization affecting many people of Hungarian descent in Australia who aspire to acquire the Hungarian citizenship.
